Do I need to register?
Not to download or play locally. Create an offline account with a nickname in the launcher. Coldun Cloud is a separate account for Coldun services and does not replace your game account.
Which mod loaders are supported?
Vanilla, Fabric, Forge and NeoForge. Availability depends on the Minecraft version. Some older Forge generations are not supported yet, and individual version combinations need testing.
Do I have to install Java myself?
Not necessarily. Coldun finds installed Java and offers an Eclipse Temurin download if a suitable version is missing. You can also select your own Java path.
Can I sign in with Microsoft?
Microsoft sign-in is implemented in the client. Minecraft Services access depends on the application's registration; the full licensed-account flow still needs verification. Offline mode is available separately and does not prove Minecraft ownership.
Will my worlds be stored in the cloud?
Worlds and game files are currently stored locally. Coldun Cloud is designed to store accounts and worlds. Account record storage is already supported by the client. Uploading and restoring worlds through the cloud is not available yet.
Is there a macOS or Linux version?
Both are target platforms for Coldun. A local Windows x64 installer is currently available. Other options will appear in the platform selector when those builds are ready.
